Figured I would start the discussion... what gear is needed for rag? For example, do we need a grill? I have a weber grill that I can pack, is that something that would be desired?

Also, is there stuff that some of you need that you don't have that another may have to bring along?

Talk to Itch directly for cooking related stuff since he is in charge of food plan this year. I know we are talking about bringing 2 mini fridges for food storage, but in case we can't get those in, more coolers would be needed (tho more coolers in general are never a bad).

You already have the tiki thing covered (from another thread). I'm sure there will be more people wanting to help make those happen for camp.

As I am thinking about it... should I bring my cast iron cooking gear?

Also, how about the Fire Lotus? Think that may have a place in camp?

You need to call itch to talk about camp cooking stuff. He has alot of this stuff figured out already and I am not 100% sure he has interwebs atm.

If I remember the year we went, he had a FULL KITCHEN including cast iron, (stove, mini-fridge, ect). But again, cooking stuff goes to meal plan. Shoot me an email or an Private message if you need his phone number.

We do not need any more kitchen gear. Itch and I just spent the afternoon taking inventory of the kitchen. You do not need to bring anything for the kitchen.

As for the fire lotus, we do not know yet. I am waiting to hear back from Vanisia about land allotment before we can make a call on that.

If you want to get ahold of Itch, you can always just call over to John's. He is there most of the time when he is not at work. He is there right now.

Apparently there is some confusion as to what I have meant by the Fire Lotus ... it is emphatically NOT what I call my forge / studio.

Nevermind... It was an assumption that proved to be false. (Still not bringing the forge tho )

Anyway, after talking with Itch earlier today, we could use a fire poker and/or blow tube combo. That's easy, have a forge to make one or two of those.

Also, now that I am thinking about it... someone ask itch if a fire tripod would be needed (again, forge, easy).
