Okay, so I know MOST of you just got back from Rag, but guess what, Aug is filling up fast. So its time to pull out your calanders and PLEASE let me know what your lives are looking like during the dates below. If I dont get this planned soon, we may not have one.

Heres some dates to consider, You have until July 9th (thats 2+ weeks) to get your schedules up here for me, or else you don't get to complain about what day I choose. I want to give at least a month of notice for people to figure out how to get here.

July 31st and Aug 7th are complete no goes due to us being gone.

Aug 14th (kinda tight but doable here if it works for others)
Aug 21st (would rather not this weekend due to school starting that monday for kiddo)
Aug 28th
Sept 4th (labor day weekend)
Sept 11th
Sept 18th
Sept 25th (homecoming for Kiddo, so he will be home early from school that Friday)

And then will go into Oct if need be.

And while you all Sigh and go "Already?!" get your calanders out, find out when your going back to school and all that fun stuff and get it up here.

The weekend of September 11th is impossible for me due to obligations. Also, that weekend is a Dag Event that I am pretty sure that many here will probably attending.

I will have to post what my drill weekends will be for those months, but that will have to be on another post.

Oger and Jocelyn are getting married Labor Day weekend. Mags, Shatty and I will be attending that (as we are in the wedding party).

Kenderpalooza is the weekend of Aug 21, as well as the weekend before classes at SIU, so that weekend is bad for me.

And yes, War of the Iron Fist is the weekend of Sept 11, so again, bad weekend for most.

And Sept 18 is Byzantium Opener.

Well, a bit of thread revival here as we lost Darstab's message.

Oktoberfest falls on the weekend of the 9-10th... though who is going to actually attend *shrug*

I am pretty much free at this point for any weekend. I won't really have a good idea as to what my drill weekends are going to be. But that only means is if a BBQ falls on the same weekend as a drill weekend, then I will only be a bit late.

Darstab, can you please repost your dates. For some reason I think Labor day was the only weekend you had free. (BTW, can someone please poke him to repost).

Now, At this point I am willing to consider Oct if needed however, if EVERYONE else can make a weekend aside from one or 2 people in an earlier month, I would prefer that since I love you all, but if we have you in Oct (fall bbq), then Dec (christmas party), then Feb (opener), then April (spring bbq), its alot to get done on my end. In alot of cases, things barely get back to normal before its time to get started again.

Also, I hate to say it, but I doubt we will find a weekend that works for EVERY SINGLE PERSON in Legion. I have been doing this for HOW long and every time I have to look at the weekend thats good for the largest group of people. If I waited till something was good for everyone, well we might make christmas or wolfpack opener.

That being said, throw your Oct dates up here and I will see what I can do. I dont have that planned out yet since I have too many irons in the fire atm with the foot and what not and my calander ends in Aug.

Aug. 28th is bad for me (horse show). Meph can prolly still come and bring the kids though.

As far as I know, Oct is ok. But then again, school hasn't started for me, so I don't know when projects are due and whatnot.

August 14th is good and bad for me. I've got it off already since it's my birthday, but it's also my 21st and a lot of people down here were hoping to get me "happy". Other than that, most dates work. Though in October my cousin is getting married, but I'm not sure if it's on the weekend of the 16th or 23rd. I'll get back to you on that. But both Tom and I will be gone for that weekend.

Well, it wouldnt be the first 21st birthday we have thrown, however, if you want to keep it down there, I fully understand.

Oh, adn Twinkles is another reason I dont like going to Oct due to the whole no one knows what school is going to do.

I am good for anything but the first, second, and third weekend of september. The pirate fest is going on in September and I promised Dragon one day of it. I can work the last weekend possibly. So August and October for me are all good. Once again October could have anything pop up.

Ok just so you know Bean Si, I never know from one week to the next what my weekends look like so anything you guys plan may or may not work for me. Once we have a concrete date then I can try to plan so I can make it. I will let you know as far in advance as I can if I am going to make it or not but it will have to be after we have a date and I see what school and work are looking like in any given week. I will do everything that I can to try to ensure my attendance but I can't say with any certainty yet. So basically like you said whatever works for the majority and go from there.

Weekend of the 25th of Sept is bad for me. That's the weekend of the SIMS conference and I usually get roped into helping somehow.

So its looking like Oct 2nd is the date of the next BBQ. Sorry for the delay in getting this decided folks, I kinda had to wait to get a better idea what I am looking at as far as my foot goes.
