I am making a trip to see you all this coming Sunday. I will hopefully be there about the time your practice starts if not a little earlier.(depends on what time I get outta work) I have my weapons and am ready to fight!! Looking forward to seeing you all and meeting some of you for the first time.

It was definitely awesome to meet you. I'm sorry I couldn't get out there and fight (stupid migraine), but it was great having another vet around for drills. We will definitely keep you updated on any other events we go out to as you are more than welcome to join us. Plus we have our events in the spring and fall, which we will let you know dates for those, as well.

Dooh, that reminds me, I need to get on the stick about planning a BBQ for fall. I know better than to do summer ones since everyone has rag and what not, but I am thinking August time frame again. Hows that work for people?

Bean Si, anytime that works for most people works for me. I just need as much advance notice as possible so that i can plan my schedule accordingly. So whatever works for you guys, just keep me in the loop and set a date. I'll be there!

Dont worry, all the planning for BBQs gets done here, so Dates will be put up for a "Whats best" and then I choose from whats best for the most people. And then a thread goes up with specifics of Time, Date adn all relevant info. ITs much easier to coordinate it all here than me makeing a million phone calls, so just keep checking the board and you will know as soon as everyone else does.

If anyone ever has anything that they want to work on at practice whether on an individual basis or formation, I am always willing to help! I am not the best fighter by any stretch of the imagination in any style(sword and board/ball and board is what I fight most). However I have at one point or another fought most styles so I am at least familiar with them. I am always willing to spar or to train or just be a test dummy if that is what you need. I take very short water breaks so don't hesitate to ask me to spar during breaks. But, I don't care if it is while fighting going on if you need or want help I will take the time to help you in any way I can. Just wanted to throw that out there.

I am going to start work in the next couple of days. We had a slight issue pop up with Sam that needs our attention first.

::Sad-concerned Barbar:: Puppy be ok????

Puppy got dual ear infections with Stap/Yeast in one and Staph/Yeast/Rod bacteria in the other (the rod bacteria is generally antibiotic resistant). Had blood and goo oozing out of the ears. Vet said with 2 pills a day and some ear drops she will be okay, but I wont know for 2 weeks when I have to take her back in adn if its not cleared up, she will need cultures and what not.

We couldnt check her ear drum in the worst ear (Due to the ear infection, her ear cannel grew smaller/narrower so we couldnt see the ear drum) but there is a possibility the gunk came from her ear drum popping. Worst case, once we get this cleared up,she will be deaf in one ear. But thats okay since she refuses to listen to anyone but me anyhow.

*sigh* welcome to my world, oh and the kids cant touch her head due to the infections being contagious to humans....

Oh and thanks for worrying about the puppy/us. I am just glad its not something that is harder to cure/incureable. Especially considering shes 8yo now...
