This Sunday, July 18th at 8am at the Evangelical Free Church in Bloomington, IL, I will be giving my oath of office as an Army Officer and Chaplain Candidate.

I know this is short notice, but, I did not receive my confirmation until today. But, you are all welcome to attend this event where I officially become an Army Officer.

Meph, I am so so sorry we didnt make it. We had clothes laid out, we were as ready to go as you could be the night before, then the kids actually slept till 8:30 in the morning.

And Cirion swears he set an alarm, but it didnt go off (we wonder if one of the little ones in our bed turned it off, they do have a history of doing that).

Sorry, Congrats on becoming an officer. Does this mean you will be consuming more officer candy? Should I buy stock?

No worries! It went well, and yes, now I am an official Army officer. As per officer candy and buying stock. hmmmm... to be perfectly honest, that may not be a bad idea.
