First Regimental Guardsman
The First Regimental Guard, or First Regimental Honors, is the highest award/title that a member of Legion of House Manticore may receive. Guardsmen are the epitome of Legion values, standards and leadership. The process of gaining the status of First Regimental Guardsman, though not limited in time to earn, can be a long process. Candidates must fulfill certain criteria to be considered a Guardsman, though it is up to either the sponsoring Guardsman or the Captain Commander if the Candidate has fully fulfilled the requirements.
Iron Halo
The Iron Halo is awarded to any Legionnaire who, while serving with the Legion or while
serving with friendly forces, has distinguished himself or herself by exceptional gallantry to the Legion in a duty of great responsibility in action while engaged in battlefield operations
involving conflict with an opposing armed force.
Silver Star
The Silver Star is awarded to a Legionnaire who, while serving with the Legion or while serving with friendly forces, is cited for gallantry in action against an opponent of the Legion, while in connection with battlefield operations involving conflict with an opposing armed force.
The required gallantry, while of a lesser degree than that required for the Iron Halo, must
nevertheless have been performed with marked distinction.
Gold Star
The Gold Star is awarded to any Legionnaire who, while serving with the Legion or while
serving with friendly forces, has distinguished themselves by heroic or meritorious achievement or service in connection with battlefield operations involving conflict with an opposing armed force.
Awards may be made for acts of heroism, performed under circumstances described above, which are of lesser degree than required for the award of the Silver Star.
The Gold Star may be awarded for meritorious achievement or meritorious service according to the following; Awards may be made to recognize single acts of merit or meritorious service. The lesser degree than that required for the Silver Star
Cord of Honor
The Cord of Honor is awarded to any member of House Manticore who, while serving with the Legion, distinguished himself or herself by heroism or extraordinary achievement not involving actual conflict with an opponent.
The performance of the act of heroism must be evidenced by voluntary action above and beyond the call of duty. The extraordinary achievement must have resulted in an accomplishment so exceptional and outstanding as to clearly set the individual apart from his or her comrades or from other persons in similar circumstances. Awards will be made only to recognize single acts of heroism or extraordinary achievement.
Wing of Loyalty
The Wing of Loyalty is awarded to any member of House Manticore who, while serving with the Legion, distinguished himself or herself by meritorious service or achievement of a lesser degree than required for award of the Cord of Honor.
Fist of Leadership
The Fist of Leadership is awarded to any member of House Manticore who, while serving with the Legion, distinguished himself or herself by extraordinary achievement of Leadership whether or not involving actual conflict with a battlefield opponent.
The performance of the act of leadership is determined in the same manner as that for the Cord of Honour.
Broken Sword
The Broken Sword is awarded to any member of House Manticore that has received a wound or injury as the result of a battlefield opponent or hostile act. And while clearly an individual decoration, the Broken Sword differs from all other decorations in that an individual is not "recommended" for the decoration; rather he or she is entitled to it upon meeting the specific criteria, based upon the approval of the Captain Commander or Regimental Commander.
Sash of the Long Quest
The Sash of the Long Quest is awarded to any Legionnaire who, while serving with the Legion must depart their 'Home Regiment’ for areas that are geographically separated.
While clearly an individual decoration, the Sash of the Long Quest differs from all other
decorations in that an individual is not "recommended" for the decoration; rather he or she is entitled to it upon meeting specific criteria.
Recipients must have physically moved to a geographical location for a period of at least six months that does not currently have any Legion membership and must not be in a commuting distance.
Laurel
The Laurel is awarded to any member of House Manticore who, while serving with the Legion, has distinguished himself or herself by meritorious service or achievement in a manner that accentuates the Role-Play aspect of the Legion.
