Adding an ArticleIf you are a House Manticore Member, just click on the link found in on the left panel 'User Menu -> Submit an Article'. For most of you that will allow you to submit an article provided you have the correct authorization. If you feel that you should have the ability to add an article and the system rejects you, please notify the site administrator to upgrade your account.However, this does not allow for automatic submission, but rather keeps it in an unpublished state. The administrator receives an email notifying that an article has been submitted for review and then publishing. Articles in this manner can be edited at anytime by the author or members that have higher administrative rights. Spell CheckWhile the Content Editor does have a Spell Checker module, it does not currently function. The system now in place is buggy at best. However, if the content editor is working correctly, then misspelled words receive a red-dashed underscore. To automatically check these words for the appropriate spelling, just 'Control' 'Left-Click' the word and the menu options will show up for spelling options (Note: this works for Mac Computers and may not for PC's. If Control Left-Click does not work, try Control Right-Click. If anyone can determine what works on a PC, either A) Let me know or B) update this article.) Wiki LinkingThis is a link system that links to the local manticoreWiki. All you have to do is put in a standard wiki link; i.e. [ [articles]]. This will create a link in the system that will automatically direct the link to the History page in the wiki. This will work for all the pages of the wiki.
followed by whatever you are looking fo: i.e. [ [wp:dagorhir]] or [ [gd:wolfpack]] Article LinkingMuch like the wiki linking above, you may do the same with articles within the House Manticore system. Simply by using { { article name}} will an automatic link be created. However, this system is not entirely perfect and if you have issues with first check that the article name link and the article title itself are absolutely the same. If the link still does not function then you will have to manually create the link. Youtube VideosIt couldn't be easier. All you have to do is get the Youtube link and paste that into an article. The system will automatically load the Youtube video.
